Medication Management Services for Mental Health

Depression

Depression is more than feeling sad. It can make you feel tired, irritable, isolative or disengaged. If you are struggling with symptoms of depression that are interfering with your ability to fully enjoy or engage in your life it may be time to consider talk therapy, regular exercise or possibly medication.

Anxiety

Anxiety is more than occasional worry. It can cause restlessness, racing thoughts, muscle tension, sleep problems, or difficulty concentrating. If anxiety is interfering with your work, relationships, or ability to enjoy life, it may be time to consider treatment options such as medication management.

ADHD

ADHD is more than being easily distracted. It can affect focus, organization, motivation, and impulse control — making school, work, and relationships more challenging. If these symptoms are interfering with your daily life, medication management may help improve attention and reduce frustration.

Insomnia

Insomnia is more than a few sleepless nights. Ongoing difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up unrefreshed can impact your mood, focus, and overall health. If poor sleep is disrupting your life, treatment options such as CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia) or medication may help restore healthy rest.

Psychosis

Psychosis is more than occasional confusion or stress. It can involve hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thoughts, or changes in behavior that make daily life difficult. If you or a loved one are experiencing symptoms of psychosis, medication management and ongoing psychiatric care can provide stability and support.

Bipolar

Bipolar disorder is more than mood swings. It can cause episodes of depression, irritability, or fatigue, as well as periods of elevated mood, increased energy, or impulsive behavior. If these shifts are disrupting your work, relationships, or daily functioning, medication management and ongoing psychiatric care can help bring balance and stability.

At Coastal Breeze Mental Health, our psychiatric nurse practitioner provides evidence-based medication management and supportive care to help reduce symptoms and improve overall wellness. We believe treatment starts with listening — taking the time to understand your concerns, answer your questions, and create an individualized plan that fits your goals.

Following your initial evaluation, you’ll meet with your provider regularly (often monthly, but at least quarterly) to review progress, make adjustments as needed, and ensure your treatment remains effective. Whether you’re seen in our Capitola office or through secure telehealth across California, our team is committed to compassionate, patient-centered care.
